Introductory level The “Information retrieval and monitoring” and "Depositing and disseminating your PhD" sessions will enable you to develop your skills in depositing and disseminating your thesis in open access. These sessions can also be supplemented by various sessions from the Open Science sessions: ”Open Science: general and legal aspects”.

Program:

  • Collect and manage references and full-text PDF documents
  • Efficiently retrieve references through collections, tags and automatic searches
  • Insert citations, generate a bibliography, and choose an appropriate citation style
  • Synchronize your library and work collaboratively
  • Prerequisites: Participants should first take the “retrieving and monitoring scientific information and literature” training course or should be familiar with literature searching in databases.

This training session is part of the doctoral training programme in scientific and technical information coordinated by the University of Lille's libraries (Service Commun de Documentation) and designed in collaboration with the UPHF's libraries (Service Commun de Documentation).
It is part of the Open Science programme and will enable you to develop your skills related to Writing and disseminating your thesis
Open science is a more reproducible and transparent way of doing science. It also allows scientific productions and data to be disseminated more openly.
The interdisciplinary skills developed in the Open Science sessions will be useful in many professional environments.
